It was amazing to see The Red Moon last Saturday.
Mom was on about "Lunar Eclipse" but I didn't know
exactly what's gonna happen.

I usually wake up around 5:30-6:00am and
patiently sit by the bed just to watch mom
if she wakes up.

She only opened ONE eye as usual and said,
 "5 more min., Buddy..."
I knew she's gonna say that.

Butter "Lick,Lick, Lick!" (Come on, mom! it doesn't make any difference!)
Mom    "OK, OK, I'm getting up!"
Butter"Wag, Wag, Wag..." (Yeah, I won!)

After my breakfast (Innova + Glucosamine) ,
mom & I went for our regular morning walk.
It was chilly morning.
I was sniffing & walking. Suddenly, Mom said,

Butter, look at the Moon!

It's RED!!

It was beautiful RED Moon I never seen the Moon like this colour...
This photo is not Saturday's but colour was just like this photo.
We stopped for a while to see the unusual scene in the sky.
This incrediable photo (below) is taken by professional photographer,
TAKEHIRO KAWAMURA, thank you for sharing!!)

A big "Thanks" for sharing this great photo!

She grabbed her IPhone and we went back to outside about 30min.
later, but the Moon was gone!  The fog came in and covered
that beautiful scene.

You're so funny!!!!!!

My mom's Facebook friend introduced this video and
I thought this is too funny to watch but wanted
share with you!

ha ha ha... basically, this funny guy,
Popo the Sunda Scops Owl originally from South Africa
is capable to disguise his body size depend on situation.
He makes himself look like a huge fluffy ball so that
he can show how big & strong he is to the little birds
such as a Barn Owl.
But when he sees his enemy birds such as a big
Eagle Owl, he will change to a thin, dried & dead branch
look even his size of eyes changes!!
He could fool a big bird?! Good luck!!!

Go Ryo Go!!

Ryo Ishikawa:

Will 2011 Masters Help Ishikawa

Donate to Japan Relief Fund?

Ryo Ishikawa is a name to root for at the 2011 Masters.

Not only is the 19-year-old a class act, but he has

agreed to donate all of his 2011 PGA earnings to

the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.

Winning the 2011 Masters could go along ways

in helping his homeland.

Ishikawa finished the first round with a score of 71,

which puts him at -1 following the first 18 holes.

That is good enough for a tie for 24th place along

with Tiger Woods, Fred Couples and three other golfers.

That means that Ishikawa still has some work left to do

if he hopes to move up the leaderboard at Augusta, which

will also move him up the money list.

Following the worst earthquake and tsunami to hit Japan,

things have not gotten any easier. After Ishikawa finished

his first round, he was dealt more devastating news,

as northeastern Japan was hit with an aftershock of

a 7.1 magnitude earlier in the day.

With all of that going on, it must be extremely difficult

to focus on golf. It would be for many 19-year-olds,

but this kid is special. He is mature far beyond his years,

and he continues to show his class, maturity and

unselfishness.

According to Joe Juliano of the Philadelphia Inquirer,

Ishikawa could wind up donating a lot of money to

the relief fund in Japan.

"Ishikawa already has pledged every dollar of his

winnings in 2011 to the relief effort in his country,

which would be close to $2 million if he equaled

his earnings of last year," says Juliano.

"Even though his heart is there, he believes

he can inspire his countrymen by playing well."

Juliano also wrote what Ishikawa said through

his translator.

"I understand that people, especially in Sendai,

they are living in hell," Ishikawa said, "and

I would love to show the energy and power of what

golf can bring to those people."

Ishikawa is scheduled to tee off at 1:04 PM on Friday

afternoon in the second round, and he will look to

put up another solid score to remain in the hunt

at Augusta this weekend.

If you love the sport of golf, and especially enjoy

watching the Masters without a rooting interest,

this would be the time to put your support

behind Ishikawa. It is a great story.

Happy story, his original owner was found!!

Happily going back to her :)

The dog that was found on drifting wreckage
on the 1st of April is going back to his original
owner!
She found the news about her dog and email with
his picture to the Coast Guard to claim that
she was the original owner.

When she arrived at the office, she required
to answer some questions and they decided
that she is certainly the owner.

Of course, she knew that she is the one,
when she called her name, "Van".

She &Van the dog were so happy to see
each other, again.

a dog was found!!!

I was very touched by these photos on
today's newspaper, and wanted to share
with you!

While the Coast Guard' s helicopter was on massive
missing people search operation , they found a dog
over one mile offshore of Kesennuma city, Miyagi,
Japan today. The dog was drifting on the wreckage
of the roof and was scared of the sound of helicopter.
They approached to him by using a small boat and
successfully rescued!! (Yeah~!!!)

According to the agency, He is very friendly and
wearing a collar. He loved biscuits that
officer gave him :) .
One of the officers kindly offered to keep him
until his real owner comes forward.
Isn't that wonderful!!!

Too good to be true!!!!

Ha Ha Ha
It's April fool's joke!
Gotcha!!!

Wanted to share with you

With my deepest condolence to dear people
who lost their family & homes due to the vast devastation
wrought by massive earthquake and Tsunami that hit
Japan on March 11th, 2011.

I was reading Yomiuri Online News and
found a great story. I wanted to share with you, so
I translated to English. Hope you like it.
This is the story about an elderly lady and her dog
at the devastation.

Bub the Shih Tzu dog & Tami Akanuma

“Bub” the dog saved her master’s life from the massive earthquake and devastating Tsunami. They had only 30 minutes before the Tsunami hit the area, Bub was pulling her master, Tami Akanuma (83 yrs old) steadily on a hill in an excited state, which led them to safe haven.

Tami & Bub (Female, Shih Tzu) were living in Kawamukai City where located only 200 meters away from the coast that called Tarou Kawa Mukai. When that area was hit by massive earthquake, Tami & Bub were just relaxing in their living room. Right after room light went out, Bub started sniffing & running around then alerted Tami with wagging tail and making noises. Tami thought it was unusual for her and it was not yet time for her regular walk either. She wondered but put Bub on leash anyways. At the same time, Tami noticed there was Tsunami warning on the radio.

Tami had similar experience of an earthquake in 1933, more than 900 people were killed or missing in Tarou area. “We have to evacuate right now…..” She quickly opened front door then Bub jumped out. Bub started pulling Tami to top of the hill which is opposite to her usual walks. Tami tried to continue walk faster, but needed take a break. Bub stopped & looked back at her master, Tami then showed a gesture to encourage her. Tami started to walk again, Bub also started to pull her,

While repeating this “walk & pull” for about one kilometer, Tami realized that the Tsunami swallowed her own home and the road they had just walked was washed away….Bub is not a dog that loves walking, but this time, she was very strong and pulling her master to top of the hill and saved her life. She must sense something unusual, such as…Tsunami is coming! Run!!!

Tami and Bub is staying with about 60 others in shelter.. Bub showed a joyful gesture when Tami washed Bub’s favorite Pink closing & put it on for her 12th birthday which was the 23rd of March.
